Warwickshire based Carol first turned to painting in 2007 when she attended a Moodyviews Pastel Landscape painting holiday, as a means to help relieve the stresses of her job as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner & Clinical Sister in a busy Accident & Emergency Department.
Having a love of wildlife and nature from an early age, it seemed a natural progression that her new found hobby would eventually turn to wildlife art.
In 2009 she took 2 years out from painting due to illness, but has since returned with renewed enthusiasm and passion for her work.
Whilst she regularly exhibits with Natural World Art Group at Banham Zoo in Norfolk, TWASI at Nature in Art, Association of Animal Artists and Southern Nature in Art at Rookesbury in Hampshire, her painting still remains primarily a hobby.
Having participated in Art Markets as part of the now dissolved art society MIWAS, she took the plunge in 2016 to apply for selection to exhibit at Patchings Festival in Nottinghamshire. Having loved the atmosphere and the interaction with like minded people she has exhibited and demonstrated there for a second year.
Following the success of her first Patchings participation and the support of visiting artists she now offers Private Tuition in Wildlife in Pastels.
